Veterán dostal nabídku na PTO také minulou sezónu a připojil se k Pittsburgh Penguins na kemp. I když to nevedlo k nabídce NHL, byl schopen hrát klíčovou roli po celou sezónu v backendu pro Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Penguins.
